U.S. Beef Young Chefs Challenge 2022 – The Perfect Steak Competition
More than 25 young talented chefs participated in the U.S. Beef Young Chefs Challenge 2022 held in Jordan on September 12 & 14. By preparing Perfect U.S. Beef Flank Steak recipes, six chefs qualified for the final competition day and proceeded to the next level of the challenge. Based on their outstanding dishes of U.S. beef steak tartar and U.S. beef Striploin steak, three young chefs made it through to the ultimate achievement. Winners of the Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals were respectively Chef Rula Al Darabeh, Chef Ammar Al Marshoud, and Chef Sumaia Barahmah.
The Perfect Steak Competition was organized by the U.S. Meat Export Federation in collaboration with the Jordanian Chefs Association. The final challenge and Award Ceremony were co-sponsored by Georges & Sami Khoury & Co., one of the key suppliers of U.S. beef in Jordan.
