An exclusive mountain event, organized by the U.S. Meat Export Federation and its representative Agri Marketing on September 12, 2020, turned out to be a very successful culinary experience for all the guests. At his Brût Kitchen & Restaurant in Hrajel - Lebanon, which is a fusion of old and modern cuisine, Chef Youssef Akiki did an amazing presentation showing participants different cooking methods for a variety of U.S. beef cuts; smoked brisket, grilled rib eye, braised short ribs, marinated charbroiled striploin and burgers made of Angus brisket and chuck. The event which brought suppliers together with gourmet retailers and elite end-users had its immediate positive tempo and a long term influence on U.S. beef buying and cooking trends.
