USMEF organized an exceptional trade and chef event to express appreciation and mutual loyalty to its trading partners and customers. At the Gatsy House restaurant and terrace of the newly opened Hilton Beirut Downtown, around 100 local and international chefs gathered with key buyers to “Live the U.S. Beef Experience” and conclude the four – day Horeca 2019 show with U.S. beef carving, grilling and tasting. USMEF was proud to host the best chefs in the business of hospitality from Lebanon and the MENA region with international experts and celebrity chefs from the world of food and drink. USMEF played host to this big group who attended Horeca 2019 show to conduct demonstrations and judge a number of competitions. The U.S. beef event was collaborated with the USDA/FAS Cairo office and the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, which was represented by Mr. Reaz Mehdi, Economic Officer and Mrs. Jeanine Sabaji from the U.S. Department of Commerce.
