In cooperation with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), the second culinary arts capacity building training was implemented by the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) at InterContinental Aqaba Resort on November 13, 2022.
An audience of 54 executives from the hospitality industry and tourism sector in Aqaba, gained the know-how to level up the cuts, hone the cooking and evolve the menu.
Practical cutting demonstrations & live cooking concluded the training with a tasting experience of Braised Short Ribs, Marinated Flat Iron Steaks, Flank Steak Tacos, Smoked Brisket, Reverse Seared Striploin, and Oven Roasted Prime Rib.
Certificates of participation were handed-over to participants and prizes were given to those who scored highest in the U.S. beef trivia quiz.
