U.S. Beef Tenderloin (Filet) Stuffed with Mushrooms

U.S. Beef tenderloin in a simple but innovative way.

Ingredients:


• 300 g. U.S. Beef Tenderloin 

• 1 boiled potato

• 3 tbsp. olive oil

• 2 tbsp. mustard seeds

• Pinch of salt

• Sprinkle of mixed spices

• 1 zucchini

• 4 baby carrots

• Broccoli

• 4 whole mushrooms


Filling

• 1 tbsp. coriander

• 1 tbsp. green parsley

• 3 fresh mushrooms

• Pinch of salt

• Sprinkle of mixed spices


Sauce

• ½ cup cooking cream

• 1 tbsp. mustard seeds

• 1 rosemary twig

Preparation:


1. Prepare the tenderloin for stuffing by coring its center.

Filling

1. Mix in a bowl coriander, parsley and fresh mushrooms; season with salt and spices. Crush with an electric mixer. Cook the mixture in a non-stick frying pan, stirring until it wilts. Remove the pan from heat and stuff the tenderloin with the mixture.

2. Grill stuffed tenderloin in a grilling pan, or on charcoal, or in the oven, depending on available tool, until outside surface of beef is no longer pink, or according to preferred degree of doneness.

Cook’s Tip: Oven roasting U.S. beef tenderloin is recommended.

Sides

1. Boil potato; mash it well with mustard seeds, olive oil, and salt. Serve with stuffed tenderloin.

2. Grill vegetables with mixed spices and olive oil. Serve with sauce.

Sauce

1. Cook cream with mustard seeds, rosemary and salt until boiling. Serve with vegetables, mashed potatoes and stuffed tenderloin.
