Middle East Team at the U.S. CAB & NRA Shows 2025

A select group of food industry professionals from Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt participated in a specialized U.S. program organized by the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) in collaboration with Certified Angus Beef® (CAB). The program combined educational training and high-level culinary exposure across Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.

The visit began in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by intensive brand and meat education at the Certified Angus Beef Culinary Center in Wooster, including sessions on beef quality, consumer trends, ground beef versatility, and a tour of a working Angus cattle farm (Chippewa Valley Angus).

Later, the group traveled to Chicago, where they toured Meats by Linz, a top-tier steak purveyor serving leading U.S. steakhouses. The experience included a fine dining dinner at Prime & Provisions Steakhouse.

The final day was spent attending the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show at McCormick Place in Chicago, offering exposure to global foodservice trends and direct engagement with U.S. beef suppliers.
