On August 10, 2025, The U.S. Meat Export Federation held a U.S. Beef Workshop for culinary students at Ammon Applied University College who took part in a hands-on U.S. Beef workshop designed to enhance their knowledge and skills in working with premium beef.
The session introduced students to the full spectrum of U.S. Beef cuts, offering in-depth guidance on selection, handling, and preparation. Participants gained practical experience in butchery techniques, learning how to properly cut different portions, as well as mastering grilling methods that unlock the rich, bold flavors of U.S. Beef by Chef Mario Aoun, PhD in Meat Sciences and Technology.
The workshop provided an invaluable opportunity for future chefs to connect theory with practice, expand their culinary expertise, and discover the versatility and quality that make U.S. Beef a top choice in kitchens worldwide.
They each received a certificate of participation at the end of the workshop wrapping up their knowledge.
